RADIOHEAD & MUMFORD SONGS TRANSFORMED IN ‘THE BOOK OF LIFE’

The voices of many big names such as Channing Tatum, Zoe Saldana, and Christina Applegate will be featured in the upcoming 2014 animated film ‘The Book of Life,’ which is styled around ancient Mexican and Greek folklore. But get this–for the musical soundtrack, Radiohead and Mumford & Sons have allowed their respective hits ‘Creep’ and ‘I Will Wait’ to be transformed into mariachi tunes by the film’s music supervisor Gustavo Santaolalla. Certain classics by Elvis Presley and Rod Stewart will also be given Santaolalla’s creative twist in what the director Jorge Gutierrez is calling the “playlist of my [his] life.” This unique Fox film will debut in October and is sure to turn some heads. http://bit.ly/1oFlVWi
