GMS and Association of Music Producers Mixer in NYC

On Tuesday November 13th The Guild of Music Supervisors in NYC participated in a mixer with members of AMP (Association of Music Producers) at the rooftop bar of the swanky Hotel Chantrelle.

AMP represents both in house Advertising Music Producers/Supervisors as well as independents.

Members of both organizations got to meet and greet and figure out ways that the GMS and AMP can do more work together to represent for music supervisors

Members of both organizations enjoyed cocktails sponsored by De Wolfe Publishing and talked about the craft of music supervision and the different terms of Music Producer and Supervisor and how they differ but yet can be one in the same.

Here are the picture participants from left to right:

Georg Bissen ( President of the AMP board), Music Supervisor Matthew Herron Smith (music supervisor “Florida Project"), Ed Gerrard (GMS NY Board member), Tracielyn Jones (Viacom Music Licensing)

Jonathan McHugh ( GMS Secretary/Co-founder) Mali Hunter (Tree Sounds Studio) Jason Menkes (AMP Board Member), Michael Hill (Music Supervisor “The Affair”)
