Billboard: Tunefind's Top TV/Film Syncs Of 2018: 'Grey's Anatomy' Is Top Show, Ruell
"Tunefind, a music discovery website that partners with Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter each month to help present the Top TV Songs list (ranking songs that appear in TV shows each month using a combination of multiple metrics from Tunefind, Shazam and Nielsen Music), has revealed its 2018 year-end data, ranking the top songs, shows, movies and more based on traffic and interaction on the Tunefind website.
For the second year in a row, no TV show had a bigger hand in the world of music than Grey's Anatomy. The ABC drama leads Tunefind's year-end TV/film syncs list yet again in 2018, after first doing so with the 2017 ranking.
That likely comes as little surprise to anyone who's been at least somewhat aware of the show since its 2005 premiere; Grey's Anatomy, which kicked off its 15th season this fall, has long been a hotbed for music discovery -- and 2018 was no different, with the show already featuring music from artists such as Sleeping At Last, Bishop Briggs and Ruelle in the latest season alone."
