The Recording Academy joined the Guild Of Music Supervisors at The Theater at Ace Hotel for their 7th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards to honor excellence in the craft of music supervision for film, television, documentary, trailers, video games and advertising. Hosts DJ Moonbaby and Guild Secretary Jonathan McHugh conducted interviews throughout the evening with a myriad of top industry guests and caught up with newly-crowned winners. The Guild recognized film music icon Gary LeMel with the prestigious Guild of Music Supervisors’ Legacy Award, and the event featured performances by GMSA Nominee Aurora, “Deadpool” contributors Teamheadkick, and Interscope artist Jacob Banks.
