Q&A WITH JOHN HOULIHAN ON “SUPERMENSCH”


VP of the Guild of Music Supervisors John Houlihan sits down with Q Score host Jonathan McHugh and chats live from the premiere of “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.” “Supermensch,” music supervised by John Houlian and directed by Mike Myers (Austin Powers), tells the story of Alice Cooper’s long time manager Shep Gordon. Shep’s saga cuts through rock n’ roll history, celebrity chefs and some of the most beautiful women in the world. John Houlihan is one of the most prolific music supervisors working in the business today. His career resume is filled with great films like ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery,’ and the sequel ‘Austin Powers: the Spy who Shagged Me,’ ‘Training Day’ with Denzel Washington and Joseph Gordon Levitt’s film ‘Looper’. John has also music supervised many TV shows, commercials and documentaries like Directors Davis Gugenhiem’s “Waiting for Superman.” Watch the interview below:
